Land Update

Well, we heard back from the accountant handling the estate Monday.  Totally unexpected since we hadn't heard from them since March!

  He basically told us to figure out which lots we wanted and present an offer to them.  He said that since we were the first ones to inquire about the land they were basically going to give us first dibs before they go through with the Real Estate Company. 

Needless to say once I hung up with him I was freaking out!!!!!

I called D and told him all the news and we both hit the ground running trying to get our ducks in a row.

His cousin is a realtor for that area, so we called her and she told us what she thought appraised value was for an acre in that area.  Which was help full because we had NO clue where to even start when it came to making them an offer.  We didn't want to offend them with a low-ball but we always didn't want to over price.

I sent them a list of questions Wednesday and expect to hear some answers back from them either Monday or Tuesday.  We basically already have our offer ready to go, but some of the answers to our questions could determine if we go higher or lower.  

We are BEYOND nervous but then again SO excited!!!!  

We would LOVE nothing more than to get this land, but we know if it's not in God's plan for us then we won't!!!  It will be hard to hear, but we just have to believe something better is out there!
